My name is Martin Hols, and I’m a music and festival photographer driven by one simple intention: to capture the energy, emotion, and legacy of the moments that move people. Photography isn’t just my craft. It’s the way I connect with the world, translate atmosphere into imagery, and preserve experiences that deserve to be remembered long after the lights fade.

Over the past years, I’ve photographed more than 250 shows across the Netherlands and beyond, working closely with artists, festivals, and creative teams to document performances in their most authentic form. I thrive in environments where intensity, creativity, and unpredictability collide places where the bass rattles your chest, the crowd becomes a living organism, and every second offers a new story to capture.

My journey has taken me to some of the most iconic stages in the scene. From the immersive chaos of the Formula 1 in Zandvoort to the monumental production of Tomorrowland. Where I joined the official media crew to capture artists, show elements, and a spectacular display of pyrotechnics. I’ve had the privilege of translating world-class performances into striking visual narratives. Every assignment challenges me to push my craft further: to anticipate moments before they unfold, to play with light in impossible conditions, and to turn movement into marketable content.

What drives me most is the pursuit of authenticity. I’m not interested in staged perfection; I want the goosebumps, the adrenaline, the quiet seconds in between, and the raw connection between performer, sport of businessevent and audiences. I aim to create images that feel alive. Photos that don’t just show what happened, but make you feel what it was like to be there.

As a visual storyteller, I take pride in blending technical precision with an intuitive sense of timing and emotion. Whether I’m documenting a full festival day, capturing an artist in their element, or creating marketing imagery for sports and business.

Photography has given me a unique perspective on the world. It’s taught me to look closer, to appreciate atmosphere as much as detail, and to chase the kind of moments that shape memories. Through my work, I hope to share that perspective—and maybe even inspire someone else to shoot for legacy.
